Rakesh Tikait Gets Death Threat On WhatsApp: Farmers Protest.

Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, has been spearheading the anti-agriculture law movement for the last 6 months on the UP border of Delhi-NCR.

He has received threats on the mobile phone again. Bharatiya Kisan Union Organization activist Prajjal Tyagi alias Mannu Tyagi has given a complaint in Kaushambi police station.

According to information received, Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, which is spearheading the anti-agriculture law movement at the UP Gate, has been abused on WhatsApp.

There are also threats to kill. The organization’s worker Prajjwal Tyagi alias Mannu Tyagi has filed a report at the Kaushambi police station.

Police and cyber cell are investigating the case.

Prajjal Tyagi said that from April 4 to May 26, Rakesh Tikait received messages on WhatsApp from a mobile number. Rakesh Tikait has been abused and hreatened to kill.

Prajjal Tyagi complained about it at Kaushambi police station around 11 pm on Thursday night. Handed out a printout of the chat to the police.

Police registered a case against Unknown in the case. Superintendent of Police Nagar II Ghaziabad Gyanendra Singh said that the case is being investigated by filing a report.

Surveillance and cyber cell teams have also been put in place.

Threatened for the fourth time.

The protest has started at UP Gate on 28 November. Rakesh Tikait first received a phone threat in December. The police arrested the accused Manav Mishra from Bhagalpur in Bihar.

He was threatened a second time in April by a young man from Firozabad. He was also caught. The third time was received a week ago.

The police are investigating the matter and now Tikait has been again threatened. Overall, he has been threatened for the fourth time. Out of these, he has been threatened twice by sending WhatsApp messages.
