The minister said the reason for Pilot not speaking was the promise made to the Gandhi family despite Gehlot hitting out at himself repeatedly.
Sachin Pilot had told the Gandhi family that he would not speak publicly against the CM or the government.
This minister said that the high command is also aware that the party can come against the BJP in 2023 only if Pilot is put forward and contested the elections.

Till now, MLAs Danish Abrar, Rohit Bohra, and Prashant Bairwa, who are considered in the Ashok Gehlot camp, have met Pilot several times over the last two months.
Gujarat Congress in-charge Raghu Sharma and Seva Dal’s former state president Suresh Chaudhary have expressed their faith in Sachin Pilot several times in the past.
