Qazi Mohammad Akbar Dahlavi was involved in conversions. Through his trust, Qazi got a large number of conversions done, preparations are being made for strict action.
The matter of conversion and marriage is getting deeper in the advocate’s chamber of Karkardooma Court.
It has come to the fore that the Qazi has got a large number of people converted by sitting on the seat allotted to an advocate in the court premises.
Shahdara Bar Association has confiscated documents from this seat, from which this thing is coming out.
The Bar Association has also come to know in the investigation that the lawyer who was allotted this seat is not even registered with the Shahdara Bar Association.
The Bar Association will now recommend to the Delhi Bar Council to take action against the Qazi as well as this lawyer.
According to VK Singh, president of Shahdara Bar Association, on Tuesday, records were scanned and it was found that the F-73 seat where the Qazi used to sit is allotted to advocate Manoj Sharma.
The seat was allotted to him in error only on the application of transfer of license from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi.
Qazi Mohammad Akbar Dahlavi, who runs Al Nikah Trust, was registering this seat number as his address on the conversion certificate and nikahnama.
On Tuesday, the Bar Association questioned Sharma.
After this, Manoj Chauhan the secretary of the Bar Association confiscated the cash goods from the F-block. Qazi’s mobile number is switched off since the matter caught fire.
According to Chauhan, on seeing the documents found in the luggage of the Qazi, it is known that the Qazi has converted and married many people through his trust.
Legal action will be taken against Qazi. His documents will be sent to the Delhi Bar Council.
Along with this, the complaint of advocate Manoj Sharma will also be sent to the Bar Council and his seat allotment will be recommended for cancellation.
It is noteworthy that the daughter of a Patparganj resident was converted and married in the lawyer’s chamber in the Karkardooma court premises.
On his complaint, the Delhi Bar Council had issued a show-cause notice by suspending the license of the Chamber’s allottee advocate Iqbal Malik.
Along with this, a three-member disciplinary committee was formed for the investigation.
In that complaint, it was told about the Qazi who conducted the conversion and marriage that he also sits on the F-73 seat in the court.
Recommendation for cancellation of lawyer’s chamber allotment.
The Delhi Bar Council has recommended canceling the allotment of the accused lawyer Iqbal Malik of F-322 Chamber, the District Judge will take action on it.
The Bar Council has also appealed for confiscation of the lawyer’s belongings.
I have the job of registering marriage and nikah. I have no relation with Qazi Mohammad Akbar Dahlvi. Why he recorded my seat number in some document, I don’t know.
Regarding the license registration, I had applied in 2010 to get the NOC from the Uttar Pradesh Bar Council and get it transferred to Delhi, which is pending.
I have presented my case before the Bar Association.
