In Amritsar, Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri was shot dead on Friday afternoon when he was sitting on a dharna outside Gopal Mandir to protest against the idols found in the dustbin.

It is being told that someone from the crowd opened fire on him. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition where he died.
