Punjab Cabinet meeting: Discussion on farmers’ movement in Punjab cabinet meeting, gave support to Bharat Bandh.

A new cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.

Many important issues were discussed in this. The cabinet expressed support for the farmers’ movement and Bharat Bandh.

In the meeting, the only farmers’ Bharat Bandh was discussed and the other agenda was postponed for the next meeting.

This is the second meeting of his cabinet after Charanjit Singh Channi became the Chief Minister and the first meeting after all the ministers of the cabinet were sworn in.

Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi welcomed all the ministers to the meeting. He said that the people of Punjab have high hopes for the new government.

There is a need to prepare a roadmap to fulfill the expectations of the people and provide relief to the common people.

According to the expectations of the people, there is a need to work together for the development of Punjab.

After the meeting, Cabinet Minister Raj Kumar Verka said that there was no agenda in today’s meeting. In the meeting, the cabinet gave its support to the Bharat Bandh given by the farmers.

Now the next cabinet meeting will be held on October 1. After the meeting, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi is giving lunch to the ministers.

Let us inform you that after taking oath as 15 cabinet ministers yesterday, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi called a cabinet meeting at 10.30 is on Monday.

As of now, the portfolios have not even been distributed to the ministers.

Therefore this meeting is being treated as a formal meeting. In the meeting, Chief Minister Channi can discuss the work done before the implementation of the election code of conduct.

After the meeting, the Chief Minister will also make all the ministers sit on the chair in their new offices. It is said that Chief Minister Channi can distribute portfolios to ministers today itself.

All 18 ministers including Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi are participating in this meeting.

Earlier, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi had a meeting with two Deputy Chief Ministers Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and OP Saini.

Many issues were discussed in it. No agenda was fixed for today’s meeting, it is said that various issues including the political condition of Punjab were discussed in the cabinet.

It is said that electricity rates and agreements with power companies can also be considered in the cabinet.

The agenda of the new government and its functioning are also reported to be discussed in the meeting.

Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi asked all the ministers to give time in office and the work should be disposed of at the earliest with transparency.

Let us tell you that this is the first cabinet meeting for Anirudh Tiwari, who replaced Vini Mahajan as the new Chief Secretary of the state.
