Public Will Lose Faith In Justice If Court Orders Not Regarded

Public will lose faith in Justice if court orders not regarded. If the orders of the court continue to be disregarded, trust from justice will arise.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court found Keralin Deshmukh, Principal Secretary, Technical Education Department, Commissioner P. Narhari, and Principal Government Polytechnic, Jabalpur RC Pandey is guilty of prima facie contempt.

The bench of Justice Sanjay Dwivedi remarked that if the orders of the court are disregarded in this way, the public will lose faith in injustice.

The court adjourned the hearing on the sentence of the said officers till 23 October. Also warned that if the order is not followed, the Director-General of Police will be directed to arrest all these officers and present them before the court.

This instruction was given on the petition of Jabalpur resident Pravin Chandra Chaubey. He was retired as lecturer ([printing)] in January 2018 at the age of 62 years. On 28 June 2018, the High Court directed him to be withdrawn from service on a petition filed against it.

The petition filed by the government against it was also rejected by the Supreme Court, yet the order of the High Court was not followed.
