The deceased man was arrested a few days back on suspicion of being involved in the killing of two policemen.

The deceased man’s mother told Geo News that her son voluntarily surrendered to the police for questioning and regretted that this had happened to him.

She said that if he was in any way involved in the killing of policemen, then why was this done to him? Why was the matter not referred to the judge?’

She promised to continue her protest till the reply was received. Some of the other protesters were neighbors of the deceased. They accused the police of torturing and killing him.

While handing over the body, the police gave the reason of death as fever.

Neighbors said that there were marks of torture on the body. While handing over the body, the police stated fever as the cause of death.

He demanded that the Prime Minister and senior government officials should take cognizance of the matter. Later, the police said that a case has been registered against the police personnel involved in the incident.
