Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the World Dairy Summit, and 75 lakh farmers also joined: World Dairy Summit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Greater Noida on Monday to participate in the World Dairy Summit. After almost 48 years, India has got a chance to host this summit.

Many programs related to milk production will be organized in the four-day program. 156 experts from India and abroad will address this conference.

This will enable farmers to get the latest information. Addressing the summit, Animal Husbandry Minister Purushottam Rupala addressed.

After his inaugural address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the summit. Initially, PM Modi also released a short film.

PM Modi told on this occasion that about 74 lakh farmers are connected through technology.

Addressing the World Dairy Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned India’s dominance in this sector.

Earlier, Animal Husbandry Minister Purushottam Rupala told that there will be a total of 24 sessions in this 4-day global conference and which will be addressed by 156 experts.

PM Modi said in his address on the first day of the summit that the dairy sector is growing at a rate of 2 percent worldwide, while in India this sector is growing at a rate of 6 percent.

He also gave information about the role of women in this sector. He said that out of the total workforce working in the dairy sector, 74 percent are women.

Animal database.

PM Modi also mentioned the Pashu Aadhar scheme at the World Dairy Summit. He said that the Pashu Aadhar scheme is being run to prepare a database of animals.

He further said that the potential of the dairy sector not only gives impetus to the rural economy, but it is also a major source of livelihood for crores of people across the world.

Unlike the developed countries of the world, the real power of the dairy sector in India is small farmers.

Banni buffalo mention.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned the Banni buffalo of Rajasthan on the first day of the World Dairy Summit.

He told how buffaloes of this species become the support of farmers even in the scorching heat. Along with this, he also told about the plan to earn money from cow dung.
