President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Modi greet people on the foundation day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
Today is the foundation day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. Both the states were formed on February 20, 1987. With this, both of them became the 23rd and 24th states of India.
On today’s occasion, President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the people of both the states, as well as appreciated the natural beauty of both the states and the brilliant talent of the people.
President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted saying-
Congratulating the people on the occasion of the formation day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram, President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted from his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Bowed with natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, both the states exemplify unity in diversity. ‘
He further said, ‘I want both the states to move forward in development in harmony with nature.’
Let us inform that Mizoram became the 23rd state of the Indian Union on 20 February 1987 in the 53rd Amendment of the Indian Constitution (the year 1986).
Similarly, Arunachal Pradesh became the 24th state of the Indian Union on February 20, 1987, in the 55th amendment (the year 1986) to the Indian Constitution.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on their foundation day.
He tweeted, ‘The people of the state are known for their brilliant talent and hardworking nature. May the state touch new heights of development in the coming times.”
At the same time, he told the people of Mizoram, ‘India is very proud of the vibrant Mizo culture and the contribution of Mizoram to the national progress.’
‘I pray for the good health and well-being of the people of Mizoram.’
Also on the foundation day of Arunachal Pradesh, PM Narendra Modi mentioned ‘Arunachal Hamara’, a song written by Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika.
He said that this song is very much liked by every Arunachal resident, PM Modi told that no ceremony is complete without this song, so he recited a few lines of this song on the foundation day of Arunachal Pradesh,
