Police Raided The Hideouts Of Two Hurriyat Leaders

Police raided the hideouts of two Hurriyat leaders, and many documents related to separatist activities were recovered: Raids In Jammu.

On Friday, the police raided the hideouts of two Hurriyat leaders who were promoting separatist activities from Jammu to Doda and Kishtwar. Although none of them could be caught by the police.

The hawala transactions, documents related to admission of students of Jammu and Kashmir in MBBS course in Pakistan, and literature related to the propaganda of banned Jamaat-e-Islami have been found.

The police have also recovered a diary, which contains the numbers and other information of the Pakistani contact sources of the accused.

Giving information about the raids conducted on the premises of two Hurriyat leaders Rais Ahmed Malik and Mohammad Sharif Sartaj, SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli said that both of them are wanted in the 15-year-old case.

In the year 2007, he raised pro-Pakistan slogans in the procession of Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Jammu. Apart from this, he is also involved in separatist activities in Jammu province.

He said that searches have been conducted at the house of Rais Ahmed Malik in Dalpatiian Mohalla and the offices and offices of Mohammad Sharif Sartaj at Sunjwan and Talab Khatik.

Mohammad Sharif Sartaj is originally a resident of Bhalesa in the Doda district.

Both of them are evading arrest and today, fulfilling all the rules, the police team led by SP South Mamta Sharma has raided their hideouts.

Despite this, both of them were not found, but many important documents have been found in their places.

SSP Chandan Kohli told that the propaganda literature of banned Jamaat Islami, forms of admission to the students of Jammu and Kashmir in the MBBS course in Pakistan was recovered.

Aso the literature, seals, and notices of the separatist organization Jammu Kashmir Freedom Movement, identity cards linked to Iran, and reports about a Pakistani national, Abdul Rehman, have been found.

The name of this Pakistani national is Abdul Rehman and he was deported to Pakistan under the relevant rules.

Apart from this, a register related to money transactions and a diary containing the numbers of many people in Pakistan have been recovered.

He said that a new case has been registered against both the accused under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act at Peermitha police station.

This case has been registered on the basis of incriminating documents found from their whereabouts today. The whole matter is being investigated.
