Police Alert, Advisory Issued For Not Causing Any Fuss In Delhi

Police alert, advisory issued for not causing any fuss in the capital Delhi. Opponents of agricultural laws also threatened a parliament march on 1 February.

On 26 January, when he was condemned on all sides, he has promised to cancel the plan of Parliament march. But after the Republic Day incident, it is difficult to trust them now.

A senior police official says that the police are fully alert for not allowing any disturbance in the capital again on February 1. All police stations have been asked to arrange strong barricades.

The police officer says that the police will never allow a rally in Delhi in future. Not a single tractor will be allowed to enter Delhi. Advisory has been issued taking lessons from the previous incident.

Notice sent to owners of 70 tractors

The SIT (Special Investigation Team) of the Crime Branch has sent notice to 70 tractor owners who were involved in spreading violence and chaos in the capital under the guise of taking out the tractor parade on Republic Day.

These owners have been identified based on tractor numbers. Apart from this, the bikes and cars involved in the nuisance are also being SIT based on their numbers.

All vehicles involved in the nuisance will be seized as case properties. The said vehicle will remain in police custody till the hearing of the case.

38 cases have been filed so far, 84 arrested by the unruly police

On the other hand, in the case of nuisance, Delhi Police has registered 38 cases so far, 84 miscreants have also been arrested. The miscreants are from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.

According to police sources, notices have been sent to the owners of these tractors living in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.

They have been asked to appear in different offices of the crime branch for early questioning as per the convenience.

Notice sent to farmer leaders again

On Thursday, the SIT of the Crime Branch had sent a notice to nine farmer leaders, including Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of Bhakiyu, asking them to appear in the Crime Branch offices for questioning on Saturday, but none of them appeared.

The SIT sent them notice again on Saturday and asked them to join the inquiry on Monday.

Internet services closed indefinitely

Internet services have been shut down indefinitely around all the pickets on the instructions of the Home Ministry.

Taking a lesson from previous incidents, Police Commissioner SN Srivastava has made very tight security arrangements at all borders. New Delhi district has been placed on most alert.
