PMC Bank Account Holders Are Not In Trouble

PMC Bank account holders are not in trouble, now the banking regulation act amendment is expected. The Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC Bank) Bank crisis a year passed on Wednesday.

People who have deposited their hard-earned money in the bank say that no concrete solution has been found even in this time. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) directive, depositors are allowed to withdraw a maximum of one lakh rupees in a year.

Unable to withdraw their money deposited in the bank, the customers say that all their efforts in this direction have gone so far. He, however, has come to expect the Banking Regulation Act amendment recently passed by Parliament. Through the amendment, an effort has been made to bring co-operative banks under RBI.

Explain that a large amount of irregularities in PMC Bank came to light on September 23, 2019. The information about disbursement of huge amount of loans was hidden by the bank officials. This loan too had turned into NPA by then. Several top bank officials have been arrested in the case.

As soon as the scam was discovered, RBI took over the board of the bank. Initially, customers were allowed to withdraw only one thousand rupees, which was later increased to one lakh rupees. Depositors say that their difficulties are not overcome with just one lakh rupees in a year.

There has been a sharp decline in economic activity in the last five months due to Corona infection, but there has been no decrease in the enthusiasm of new traders. According to the data of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, a total of 51,807 new companies were registered during April to August this year. At the same time, 3333 companies have applied for cancellation of their registration.

According to ministry sources, it was earlier understood that applications for registration of new companies would not come in the Corona era, but in every state of the country new companies were registered during the Corona period.

According to the data of the Corporate Affairs Ministry, 8677 new companies were registered in Maharashtra during April-August this year. In Uttar Pradesh too, entrepreneurs are seeing more business potential. During April-August, 5469 companies were registered in Uttar Pradesh.
