PM Modi to address the world’s largest online hackathon today, 10,000 students to participate. Pm Modi to address the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2020 on Saturday.

Prime Minister Modi himself gave this information by tweeting. During this time more than 10 thousand students will compete to solve 243 problems of government departments and industries.

Preparations have been completed regarding this. Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today chaired a high-level meeting to finalize the hackathon’s plan.

Smart India Hackathon is an initiative to identify digital technology-based innovation to solve challenges. The Minister of Human Resource Development had earlier said that it will be conducted online keeping in mind the corona epidemic.

In this, all participants will be joined together on an advanced platform built specifically. This year there will be more than 10,000 students who will compete to solve 243 problems of 37 departments of the central government, 17 state governments, and 20 industries. There will be prize money of Rs 1 lakh for each problem.

According to Union Human Resource Development Minister Nishank, the Smart India Hackathon is a unique initiative to address the challenges facing the country and identify new digital technology innovations.

He said that in order to lay a strong foundation of self-reliant India, students need to continuously track ideas and move them from idea level to prototype level. The Gand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2020 (Software) will be held from August 1 to August 3.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tributes to one of the symbols of India’s freedom struggle Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his 100th death anniversary, saying his keenness, mental fortitude, and thought of “swaraj” keep on rousing individuals.

He additionally shared a short video of one of his ‘Mann ki Baat’ programs in which he had alluded to Tilak’s endeavors to join individuals against the British rule.

“India bows to Lokmanya Tilak on his 100th Punya Tithi (demise commemoration). His mind, mental fortitude, feeling of equity, and the possibility of Swaraj (self-rule) keep on motivating,” Modi tweeted.
