PM Modi Starts Working With New Ministers

PM Modi starts working with new ministers a day after a cabinet reshuffle.

A day after a major reshuffle in the Union Cabinet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday started work with new ministers.

The Prime Minister today interacted with directors of centrally funded technical institutions like IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, and IISc Bangalore through video conferencing.

The new Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also participated in this conversation.

Sources said that this interaction is a part of PM Modi’s personal efforts to ensure further improvement in educational institutions.

PM Modi starts working with new ministers: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a major reshuffle and expansion in his Council of Ministers on Wednesday.

The expansion saw more representation of states, including Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, where elections are due next year.

Apart from young talent, the representation of OBC and SC has also increased in the government. The average age of the cabinet has come down.

These changes have been made a few days before the monsoon session of Parliament.

43 ministers, including seven who were promoted as cabinet ministers, took the oath of office in a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan with a protocol related to Corona.

Union Cabinet reshuffled for the first time after returning to power in 2019.

The Union Cabinet was reshuffled and expanded for the first time since the Modi government returned to power in May 2019.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, Bhupendra Yadav, Sarbananda Sonowal, and Pashupati Kumar Paras are some of the big names who have been inducted into the Union Cabinet.

Seven women MPs took oath as Union Ministers in the Council of Ministers.

These include Anupriya Patel, Shobha Karandlaje, Darshan Vikram Jardosh, Meenakshi Lekhi, Annapurna Devi, Pratima Bhowmik, and Bharti Praveen Pawar.

Apart from this, seven Ministers of State (MoS) have been promoted as Cabinet Ministers.

These include G Kishan Reddy, Kiren Rijiju, Anurag Thakur, Hardeep Puri, Raj Kumar Singh, Purushottam Rupala, and Mansukh Mandaviya.
