PM Modi congratulated Japan’s new PM Fumio Kishida on taking office and said he looks forward to working with him to further strengthen the special strategic and global partnership in the region.
PM Modi said on Twitter, ‘Congratulations and best wishes to the new Prime Minister of Japan, His Excellency Kishida Fumio.
PM Modi congratulates the new PM of Japan: He said-
“I look forward to working with him to further strengthen the Special Strategic and Global Partnership and advance peace and prosperity in our region.”
Earlier, PM Modi said that the friendship between India and Japan is considered one of the most natural partnerships in the entire region and added that Japan is one of India’s most trusted friends.
Earlier on Monday, Japanese lawmakers voted to approve Fumio Kishida as the new prime minister.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that whenever I talk about freeing New India from the shackles of the caste system, I have unwavering faith in the youth during that time.
He said that today’s youth has the power to fulfill Babasaheb’s dreams.
The PM said that in the last 5-6 years sincere efforts are being made to promote and participate in sports in India.
Transparency is being promoted everywhere in the process of talent identification, training, or selection.
Modi says, ‘Today India is the youngest country in the world. Youth have limitless dreams and expectations.
The government is working continuously so that they can channel their energy in the right areas.
PM Modi said, ‘Today after completing every task, let’s save time, take a little game, instead of that let’s play, blossom too – how can we move forward with this resolve.’
PM Modi had turned 71 on (September 17). On his birthday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a 20-day public program ‘Seva Aur Samarpan’ campaign.
The program will continue till October 7 to mark his 20 years in public life, which includes the period when he served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
