Plymouth Shooting: Six were killed and several injured in indiscriminate firing in England’s Plymouth city.

Six were killed and several are in critical condition in a shooting incident in the city of Plymouth, England.

On Thursday, an armed man opened fire indiscriminately in the southwest city of Plymouth, England. The police took a stand on information about the firing in the residential areas of the city.

Giving information about the incident, the police said that the area has been cordoned off and the situation is under control.

Police said that many people have lost their lives on the spot and several other injured are undergoing treatment. According to the news agency Reuters, 6 people died in this incident and many were injured.

Local MP Johnny Mercer has urged people to remain calm. He said on Twitter that the incident had nothing to do with terror, and neither did the suspect in Plymouth flee.

Home Minister Priti Patel expressed condolences on the incident.

Home Minister Priti Patel termed the incident as shocking and said that she has sympathies with the affected people.

He did not give further details about what happened in the incident. He tweeted about the firing incident that I have spoken to the Chief Constable and have offered my full cooperation.

“I urge everyone to remain calm, follow the advice of the police and allow emergency services to do their job,” she tweeted.

Giving details of the incident, British media said that local residents heard loud explosions and gunfire before police entered the area.

A person present at the spot, on condition of anonymity, said that he heard shouts, and after that several shots were fired in the area.

The incident took place when the shooter kicked at the door of a house and started firing randomly.

Another local MP, Luke Pollard, said the incident looked like a very serious day for our city and our community.

He said that please everyone stay safe, stay indoors and follow the advice of the police.
