Pinarayi Cabinet Will Have 21 Ministers In Kerala

Pinarayi cabinet will have 21 ministers in Kerala, 12 ministers will be made from CPI (M).

Pinarayi Vijayan, who is going to form the government for the second time in Kerala, will have 21 ministers in his cabinet.

The Left Democratic Front (LDF) government will take oath on 20 May.

LDF Coordinator and CPI Acting State Secretary A.K. Vijayaraghavan said after the LDF state committee meeting on Monday that limited people have been invited to the swearing-in of the new Left Front government

The Chief Minister will decide the portfolios of the ministers.

The LDF’s largest partner CPI-M will have 12 ministers, while the second-largest party will have four members of the CPI, one each from Kerala Congress (M), Janata Dal (S), and NCP.

Before the swearing-in on May 20, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had said that it is being ensured that very few people attend the ceremony.

The Kerala unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Saturday suggested that the swearing-in of the new cabinet be held on a virtual platform.

The IMA made this suggestion in view of the unprecedented increase in cases of Kovid-19.

Supreme Court orders medical examination of rebel MP of YSR Congress, know the whole matter

The Supreme Court on Monday directed that K Raghu Ramakrishna Raju , a rebel MP from the YSR Congress arrested in a sedition case, be taken to the Army Hospital in Secunderabad in Telangana for medical examination.

A vacation bench of Justice Vineet Saran and Justice BR Gavai said that Raju (K Raghu Ramakrishna Raju) should be kept at the Army Hospital in Secunderabad until further orders.

Not only this, but the apex court also said that MP’s Raghu Ramakrishna Raju should be medically examined in the presence of a judicial officer appointed by the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.

The Supreme Court said that Raju’s medical examination should be video graphed and its report sent to the court in a sealed envelope.
