People Are Using 120 km To Cover Only 16 km Kodakkal Area

People are using 120 km to cover only 16 km of Kodakkal area of Kalmakaru village on the boundary of Sulia Taluk due to Government negligence.

Madikeri is the taluk center for about 100 houses. Previously, the people of the area had paid around Rs 300 to reach Madikeri in a jeep for a panchayat business.

Mangalore (A04): It was a British era road. The road was closed today due to government negligence. It is 16 km from here. Today, people who walk the city and travel around 120 km are using Hogta

The road, which starts from the Kallakari of Sullia Taluk in Dakshina Kannada district, is connected to Madikeri by just 16 km. But the government has ordered the closure of the road, and today Hogta is using 120km loop to reach Madikeri.

The forest department has only agreed to road traffic, though the government has ordered the closure of the road due to its presence in the environment sensitive zone. But in the AC room, the order of the stalwart government officials has put a ban on people’s traffic.

Kodakkal area of Kalmakaru village on the boundary of Sulia Taluk. Madikeri is the taluk center for about 100 houses. Previously, the people of the area had paid around Rs 300 to reach Madikeri in a jeep for a panchayat business.

But now that the road is closed, there is a moda of 120km and 1000s. This is a hell of a place where there is no traffic. Because of all the administrative issues that have to go to Madikeri, three-quarters of the poor family has to be removed to traffic.

The road was used to connect Madikeri with the British. There was a system to reach Madikeri from the pollutant by airbag. The Hunsur-Dharmasthala road was the seat of the British.

But now departments are disrupting traffic here. Subramanya is easily accessible by road from Mysore-Madikeri. This is a local argument that saves time and money.

The government, which did not make a road together, shut down the road that was in the village and dumped the villagers’ lives into a hardship. There are people in the village who are hoping to reopen another closed road
