PDPU Eighth Convocation 2020: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today attended the eighth convocation of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar.

The Prime Minister virtually laid the foundation stone for the 45 MW generation plant of Monocrystalline Solar Photo Voltaic Panel at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University.

The Prime Minister wrote in his tweet that on November 21 at 11 am, I will address the convocation of PDPU, Gandhinagar.

The Prime Minister today inaugurated various centers promoting research, innovation and learning in the PDPU virtually.

During this convocation, the foundation stone of the 45 MW generation plant of ‘Monocrystalline Solar Photo Voltaic Panel’ and ‘Center of Excellence on Water Technology’ at Prime Minister University.

Simultaneously, the ‘Innovation and Incubation Center’ was inaugurated at Prime Minister Narendra Modi University.

According to the information received, about 2,600 students are receiving their respective degrees / diplomas in this convocation.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) was established as a private university through the State Act enacted on 4 April 2007.

Which offers programs in the fields of science, technology, management and humanities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the 15th G-20 Summit. The conference will be held on 21 and 22 November.

The Prime Minister is going to participate at the invitation of Shah Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.
