Part Of Mosque Converted Into Community Health Care Center

Part of the mosque in Hyderabad converted into a community health care center. Amidst the coronavirus epidemic, a mosque has done commendable work. Masjid e Mustafa Mosque in Hyderabad converted a portion of its campus into a community health care center to help women and children in the neighborhood amid the Corona epidemic.

Mohammed Faridullah, the manager of the Helping Hands Foundation of the NGO running the community health care center, told a leading news agency that he had received a request from the area to provide medical assistance during the lockdown. He said, ‘We were providing necessary things here during the lockdown and many people requested medical help.

We found that many women and children in the area were in great physical trouble and the government hospital is about eight kilometers from here. Most people here are daily wage laborers and their income is spent on transportation and medicine bills. He said that when his organization was looking for a place to set up a clinic, he spoke to the management of the mosque, after which he agreed to give it to the mosque’s premises’.

He also said that the clinic is open to everyone, be it from any religion or community. He said, “We are giving free consultation to all and more and more people are visiting the clinic every day. “At the same time, Imam Abdullah of Masjid e Mustafa said that the decision to convert a part of the mosque into a clinic was taken keeping in mind the Corona epidemic.

He said that this clinic is dedicated to women and children. It also housed a dentist clinic for men. Currently, people are afraid to go to the hospital, but no one is afraid to come here. In the clinic, a patient named Faheem Unnisa told that this clinic is very useful for us. They are not even taking fees from us. We are very grateful to the organization.
