Parliament Breach: The Security of Parliament will now be tight, and responsibility assigned to this force.
After the lapse in the security of Parliament, the Central Government has come into action mode.
The government is now in talks with the concerned departments to provide ‘comprehensive’ security of the Parliament to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
The government became strict.
Government sources told aamnewsnetwork that the matter was raised in a recent meeting, which was attended by officials from Delhi Police, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), CISF, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and other relevant divisions.
According to sources, the final decision on this matter will be taken in the second round of meetings next week. However, sources close to the development said, two points were mainly discussed in the meeting,
One in which due to expertise it was suggested to hand over the extensive security of Parliament to CISF.
Secondly, it was suggested to keep the security personnel of Delhi Police in charge of some areas.
An order has also been issued for a survey of the Parliament House complex to gather inputs before the deployment of CISF.
The Central Armed Police Forces currently guard several central government ministry buildings in Delhi in addition to the nuclear and aerospace domain, the airport, and the Delhi Metro.
The meeting to revamp the security arrangements in Parliament was held after the Parliament security lapse on December 13 by the Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Let us tell you that recently two infiltrators named Manoranjan D and Sagar Sharma jumped into Parliament from the audience gallery.
Both of them had thrown smoke cans in the Lok Sabha, after which Delhi Police arrested them.
Two other persons, Neelam Azad, and Amol Shinde, were also caught inside Parliament, where they had opened similar smoke cans.
