Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh appeared before the NIA on Wednesday to record his statement in an explosive-laden SUV near the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani.

According to the information, Parambir Singh reached the office of the National Investigation Agency located in South Mumbai at 9.30 am.

On 25 February, the recovery of an explosive-laden vehicle near Mukesh Ambani’s house Antilia and then the Thane businessman Mansukh Hiren’s death is under constant suspicion in the case.

Significantly, outside the Mukesh Ambani residence, the NIA arrested Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Vazhe in the case of an explosive-laden vehicle.

At the same time, suspended police constable Vinayak Shinde and cricket bookie Naresh Gore were also arrested in the Mansukh Hiren murder case.

Mansukh Hiren’s body was found on 5 March in a suspicious condition in the Mumbra Creek area of ​​Thane. Since the murder of Mansukh Hiren, there are constant new revelations in this case.

In this case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had told the court that the suspended Mumbai Police officers Sachin Waze and Vinayak Shinde were involved in the meeting where the murder of Mansukh Hiren was hatched.

The agency has also claimed that Sachin Vazhe used a mobile phone to carry out the incident.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday registered a preliminary inquiry to investigate allegations of corruption against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

This information was provided by officers. A team from the Central Investigation Agency reached Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon and collected all the relevant documents.

The agency started a preliminary inquiry in compliance with the Bombay High Court order. CBI spokesperson RC Joshi said that CBI has registered a preliminary inquiry in light of the Bombay High Court order dated 5 April 2021.

It is noteworthy that the High Court gave 15 days to CBI for the preliminary inquiry into the allegations.
