Pakistani Drone Showing Off On Indo-Pak Border In Gurdaspur

Pakistani drone showing off on Indo-Pak border in Gurdaspur returned after BSF firing: Dera Baba Nanak. The Pakistani drone was once again seen on the Indo-Pak national border at Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur.

The BSF personnel of BoP Metla of 89 battalion of BSF Sector Gurdaspur stationed at the border saw firing on the drone entering India. After firing, the drone moved towards Pak.

On the other hand, soon after getting the information about the incident, BSF IG Mahipal Yadav and DIG Rajesh Sharma reached the border and a search operation was carried out.

On Friday morning, at about 6 o’clock in the morning, BSF personnel posted on BOP Metla of 89 battalions of BSF saw the drone coming from the Pak side. Seeing the drone coming towards India, the BSF personnel started firing.

It is understandable that for the seventh time the drone has attempted to penetrate towards India, but the BSF personnel stationed on the border fired on the drone five times and destroyed the flames of anti-national forces.

On the other hand, intelligence agencies have started investigating after repeated drone incidents.

Earlier, on Wednesday morning, a drone from Pakistan side attempted to enter the Indian border. Even if the BSF personnel of 89 battalion deployed on BOP Kamaljeet fired, the drone went towards Pakistan.

After information, BSF DIG Rajesh Sharma, battalion commandant Pradeep Kumar and officers of Punjab Police reached and conducted a search operation in the border area. However, no suspicious object was found during this time.

Significantly, for the seventh time in 20 days from Pakistan, the drone has tried to enter.

Earlier on October 2, manned BoPs, Dera Baba Nanak on October 3, BOP Chandu Wadala on October 10 and night-time drones tried to sneak into the Indian border at Sandhawali. Sources have revealed that Pakistani terrorists and smugglers are trying to send weapons and drugs through drones.

The Interior Minister Brigadier Ijaz Shah is believed to be the brain behind the kidnapping of IG Mushtaq Mehr of Sindh province by Pakistan Rangers and the arrest of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Safdar Awan.

He defended these actions saying that no political leader in a democratic system can be allowed to target national institutions in the name of freedom of expression.
