In the Pahalgam terrorist attack on 22 April 2025, three main terrorists killed 26 people, including 1 Nepali citizen. When the army reached the terrorists hiding in the forest, 3 months after the attack, all three were killed there under Operation Mahadev. A condolence meeting was organized for Tahir on 30 July in Kuiyan village of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Since the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan has been pretending to end terrorism to improve its image. But its real face has been exposed many times in front of the world. Many Pak officials also attended the funeral of the terrorists killed in Operation Sindoor.
