Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and People’s Conference chairman Sajjad Gani Lone have accused the state government of deliberately not allowing them to buy bulletproof vehicles in private.

The government is constantly compromising its security.

People’s Conference chairman Sajjad Gani Lone said that when someone is killed here, there is talk of strengthening the security system.

We know very well that here security is used as a weapon. I am in the Z plus category, but how is the security circle, need not be told.

I personally bought a vehicle, got it bulletproofed, and even today it is lying in Chandigarh. The state government is not allowing this.

ADG Security has not signed the related file for the last three months. This behavior is with the man who has Z plus security. What would happen to him, who would have been placed in the category of security of lesser level?

Sajjad said that after August 5, 2019, it is being spread here that political people in Jammu and Kashmir are thugs and thieves.

Bureaucrats and police have also started believing in it. Politicians are defeated or removed from politics by social means, but here now they are being physically eliminated.

At the same time, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also supported Sajjad Gani Lone and said that we also want to buy two bulletproof vehicles because our two senior leaders in Kashmir are not being given enough security cycles.

An application for the purchase of a bulletproof vehicle would be gathering dust on the desk of an administrative officer.

Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Jitendra Singh has asked the district administration to complete the Devika River Conservation Project in Udhampur by early next year.

The Devika projects in Udhampur under the National River Conservation Plan (NRCP) were announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.

Devika river is also our religious and cultural identity. Devika river is considered to be the sister of the river Ganges.

Taking stock of this project on Thursday, the Union Minister said that its completion will reduce pollution and improve water quality.

Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that Devi’s project is not just a project but it is also a matter of faith. In such a situation, everyone should be taken into confidence while completing the project.
