Odisha COVID count ascends to 5,962 with 210 new cases. With 210 new coronavirus cases in Odisha, the COVID-19 count in the state rose to 5,962 on Thursday, an authority from the Health Division said.

He said 174 of the 210 new cases were identified in isolate points and 36 were neighborhood contact cases. There are 1,815 dynamic cases in the state, while a sum of 4,123 patients has recouped from the illness, the authority said.

The loss of life due to COVID-19 stands at 17 in the state, he said.

“A patient from Ganjam was experiencing treatment here since June 19 in the crisis division and he has tried positive for COVID-19, the Malignant growth Community’s Executive Prof Lalatendu Sarangi said.

The patient has been moved to a COVID emergency clinic in Bhubaneswar, he said. An aggregate of 4,188 examples were tried for coronavirus in the state on Wednesday, taking the complete number of COVID-19 tests to 2,39,815, the authority said.
