Novak Djokovic Registers Victory: Wimbledon 2021

Novak Djokovic registers victory while falling on the grass, made it to the third round: Wimbledon 2021.

Just a few days ago on June 13, Novak Djokovic, who became the French Open king in the red gravel clay court, was seen falling and slipping several times as soon as he came to play on the grass court.

He, however, kept his balance on the grass to register a straight-set 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 win over South Africa’s Kevin Anderson in the second round.

Novak Djokovic registers victory: But after this victory, he did not look happy but took out his anger many times on the grass court.

In fact, on the grass courts of Wimbledon, the moisture coming out of the grass is not drying, due to which Djokovic slipped several times while playing the match, although he was lucky that he did not get injured during this time.

For example, Serena Williams and Adrian Mannarino have already been out with injuries due to slips.

In such a situation, on Djokovic’s complaint, All England Lawn Tennis Club member Tim Heinmann said that the courts have been prepared like every year this year. There is no shortage in that.

However, Djokovic kept his grip on the match despite the adverse conditions of play. He never hit a breakpoint in the match against Anderson and made only six blunders.

In this way, reminiscent of the 2018 Wimbledon final match, Djokovic once again defeated Anderson in a one-sided fashion.

This is Djokovic’s 16th consecutive win at Wimbledon. Djokovic is on his way to the 20th Grand Slam title of his career.

If he does so, he will be equal to Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in winning the 20-20 Grand Slam title.

In the other match, former US Open runner-up Kei Nishikori of Japan defeated Alexei Popirin of Australia 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to register his 100th Grand Slam match while Pablo Andujar of Spain suffered a rib injury.

The match declined to play, leading to Denis Shapovalov making it to the third round. The match could not even start.
