Nigeria Violence Escalates: 100 Burnt Alive, 70 Volunteers Killed

Nigeria Violence Escalates: Amid Nigeria’s rising conflict, over 70 security volunteers and 100 villagers have been killed in separate attacks. Amnesty International confirms mass casualties.

More than 70 security volunteers were killed in Nigeria, bandits ambushed them; know the whole matter. Bandits ambushed and killed 70 community security volunteers in Nigeria’s Plateau state. Volunteer leader Aliyu Baffa said that it happened near Kukawa and Banyun communities in Kanam district at 1 pm on Monday.

Hundreds of volunteers, he said, were heading for Madam Forest. It is said that armed bandits hide in this location. More than 70 volunteers have been killed, according to Baffa, and some more may be found.

Nigeria Violence Escalates: Bandits set houses on fire

Giving information about the incident, a resident, Musa Ibrahim, said that bandits killed 10 security volunteers of his community and set many houses on fire. Information has come to light about the burial of more than 60 people in Kukawa alone.

This ambush incident highlights Nigeria’s escalating violent strife. It often involves Islamic militias or criminal gangs. In such attacks, 2,266 people have been killed in the first half of 2025. However, the police have not yet given any information on this matter.

100 people were burnt alive after being locked in rooms; Gunmen wreaked havoc in Nigeria

A heartbreaking incident took place in Yelewata village in Central Benue State of Nigeria. Gunmen killed at least 100 people in this village. Amnesty International Nigeria gave this information on Saturday.

Amnesty gave information about this incident on the social media platform X and said that many people are still missing. Dozens are injured. Many families have been locked in their rooms and burned alive.
