NIA raids from Kashmir to Kathua, four including juvenile detained: NIA Raids in Jammu and Kashmir.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday also raided 14 places from Bandipora in North Kashmir to Kathua in Jammu for the second consecutive day.

In this action, four people, including a minor, and a former terrorist, were allegedly detained for questioning. Digital evidence and incriminating material and documents were also recovered.

NIA raids from Kashmir to Kathua: However, the NIA has not officially confirmed the arrest or detention of anyone.

Earlier on Thursday, the NIA had arrested an overground worker of The Resistance Front (TRF) and detained three others for questioning.

The case was registered by the NIA on June 21 in connection with the conspiracy to disrupt the ongoing Amarnath Yatra and Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra and target minorities living in Kashmir.

After this, NIA teams are continuously raiding Jammu and Kashmir in search of people involved in the conspiracy.

NIA along with police and CRPF personnel conducted searches at around 14 places in Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam, Bandipore, Pulwama, and Sopore besides Kathua in Jammu.

According to sources, the room of a Class IX teenager living in a rented house in Rahab Saheb Aali Kadal area of ​​Srinagar was also searched.

The mobile phones of the Teenager and his relatives have been seized by the NIA team for investigation.

The juvenile and his father have been taken into custody for questioning. NIA also raided the house of a former terrorist Syed Fayaz in Banpora Chevdara of Budgam district.

He has also reportedly been taken into custody for questioning. Some digital evidence related to terrorist activities is also reported to have been recovered from his house.

Apart from this, both Abdul Majeed Dar in Chak-e-Ganistan in Bandipora and the raid on the house of Uwais Ahmed Sheikh in Bankoot have been allegedly taken into custody.

A search has also been conducted in Kathua. In the past, former minister Babu Singh, who was caught in the hawala case, is a resident of district Kathua.

Till late in the night, the NIA had not issued any official statement regarding the raids and had not confirmed any detention or arrest.
