NIA nabbed conspirator Sadiq in the Bengaluru violence case, police stations were targeted. On August 11, NIA (National Investigation Agency) nabbed Syed Sadiq Ali for assaulting a police station in Bangalore and inciting violence elsewhere. He is accused of involvement in a conspiracy to incite violence.

Sadiq Ali (44) hails from Bengaluru. The NIA investigation has revealed that on August 11, he had instigated the mob to attack KG Halli police station. In this attack, there was a loss of public property and government property on a large scale.

Hundreds of vehicles parked and parked there were damaged or badly damaged by a mob of more than three thousand people, along with damaging the police station building.

The same mob later attacked and vandalized the residence of Congress MLA R Akhand Srinivasamurthy and his sister Jayanti. The crowd did not stop at this, he attacked and broke into Devora Jeevanhalli and Kadugondanahalli police stations in Bangalore.

The violence in Bangalore erupted on social media following objectionable remarks made on Prophet Muhammad. The investigation found that the extremist organizations SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India) and PFI (Popular Front of India) were behind the violence.

Raids in over 30 NIA locations found airguns, their shrapnel, sharp weapons, iron rods, digital devices, DVRs and objectionable documents. This information has been given by NIA IG Sonia Narang.

The investigation has revealed that Muzammil Pasha, SDPI state secretary, and other members mobilized and incited the violence. The Karnataka government requested the NIA to investigate the matter after receiving evidence that the terrorist was involved in the violence. The arrested Sadiq was missing from the day of the incident.
