The NIA team reaches Kushinagar and interrogates BHU students for four hours. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) interrogated a youth from Fazilnagar, who passed his MA examination from Banaras Hindu University three years ago, in a room for about four hours in utmost confidentiality. The team had called the youth to Patharwa police station on Sunday for investigation and interrogation by giving him a notice regarding his relations with Maoists, contacts and organizations, etc.
Fazilnagar’s Vinay Kumar Sharma, who is active as a student activist and social worker at the university, has been issued a notice by Inspector Gyanendra Singh Chauhan of the investigation team to question him regarding the people involved in the investigation of the case registered in the year 2024 about the Maoists.
On Sunday, the members of the NIA team reached Patharwa on time and conducted the utmost confidential interrogation in a room on the police station premises with Vinay Kumar Sharma who reached the police station. After enquiring about Vinay Kumar Sharma, it was found that after studying in Banaras, he is involved in social activities as well as student activists and is active in political activities. While none of the members of the NIA team talked to the media nor gave any information in this regard.

Outpost in-charge Fazilnagar Manoj Kumar Verma said that Vinay Kumar Sharma is a resident of Fazilnagar town. The NIA team has questioned him in some cases. Police station in-charge Pateharwa Deepak Kumar Singh said that the NIA team had come. Vinay Kumar Sharma, a resident of Fazilnagar, has been questioned. He expressed his inability to share any further information regarding the investigation.

According to sources, a notice was sent to Vinay Sharma by the National Investigation Agency last Friday. In this, he was asked to appear at the Pateharwa police station at 10 am for questioning. Vinay belongs to a normal family. His father Jayshree is a farmer.

Vinay Sharma has been associated with the Bhagat Singh Student Front of Kashi Hindu University. He has also been the president of the organization. It is believed that Bhagat Singh Student Front secretly works to incite the youth against the government.
