New Zealand opener created history in the very first match against England at Lord’s ground.

The New Zealand team is playing a two-Test series against England before playing in the World Test Championship final against India.

The first Test match started on Wednesday at Lord’s ground. On the first day of the match, Devon Conway played a historic inning for New Zealand to play his first Test match.

He scored a century and became the 12th New Zealand batsman to score a century on debut.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bat first on the first day of the Lord’s Test. Conway, who was in constant discussion in this match, got a chance to debut.

He opened the innings with the experienced Tom Latham and played a half-century partnership. Latham was dismissed for 23 runs off 57 balls with the help of 2 fours.

Conway made history at Lords.

Playing the first Test match, Conway completed his half-century off 91 balls with the help of 6 fours. After this, taking forward his innings, he completed his century in 163 balls with the help of 11 fours.

Conway became the 12th New Zealand batsman to score a century in the very first innings of the debut match. Became the sixth batsman in the world to score a century in a debut match on this ground.

Conway has become the first batsman in the world to score a century at Lord’s on the very first day of his Test career.

This happened after 25 years.

In the year 1996, Sourav Ganguly, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, scored a century in the debut Test against England at the same ground at Lords.

Ever since no other batsman has done this. Conway became the first batsman to do so at Lord’s, playing a debut match after 25 years.
