New Zealand Is Going To End Military Deployment In Afghanistan

New Zealand is going to end military deployment in Afghanistan-  New Zealand PM Ardern.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced Wednesday that New Zealand would withdraw its military personnel from Afghanistan in May.

Our soldiers have been there for two decades, now we are going to finish our deployment there.

Ardern said Afghanistan’s internal peace process worked better for a lasting political solution in a troubled country, which should be understood as there is no longer any need for a New Zealand defense force there.

“After 20 years of NZDF’s presence in Afghanistan, now is the time to end our deployment,” he said in a statement.

Some 3,500 New Zealanders were reported to have served in Afghanistan since 2001, including Special Forces, Reconstruction Teams, and Officer Training Specialists.

However, deployments have steadily decreased in recent years, and currently, only six are present there – three at the Afghan Officer Training Academy and three at the NATO headquarters.

Ardern said the deployment to Afghanistan has been one of the longest-running in our history. She further said that I want to remember the 10 New Zealand defenders who lost their lives.

Also more than 3,500 NZDF and other agency personnel, whose commitment to turning the struggle into peace will always be remembered.

Ardern’s statement said the decision to end the deployment was discussed with key partners.

At the same time, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said this week that the coalition will not withdraw troops from Afghanistan until the right time comes.

Let us know that defense ministers from Washington-backed allies are scheduled to meet this week to discuss the future of the 10,000-strong mission.

Nancy Pelosi wrote a letter to the Commission to investigate the attack on the US Parliament on the lines of 9/11.

Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi has proposed an independent commission to investigate the attack on the US Parliament.

She says that the way the 9/11 attack was investigated through the commission, the January 6 attack should be investigated on the same lines. January 6 is considered one of the darkest days in American history.

On this day, supporters of former President Donald Trump entered the building and vandalized it. The lives of hundreds of MPs were put in danger by this.
