NDA Is Going To Form The Government Once Again In Bihar

NDA is going to form the government once again in Bihar: Know which party got how many votes and seats in Bihar.

NDA government is going to be formed once in Bihar. This time the counting of votes lasted till late at night. There was a fierce competition between the Grand Alliance and the NDA.

The RJD emerged as the single largest party in the elections. It secured 75 seats and the second-placed Bharatiya Janata Party won 74 seats. JDU won 43 seats, Congress 19 and other parties, and independents 31 seats.

The NDA may have succeeded in forming a government, but its vote share has dropped, while the vote share of RJD and Congress has increased.

Counting centers were increased this time due to Corona, which caused the counting of votes late.

BJP’s vote share decreased, seats increased

The BJP got 10.97 per cent (February 2005) votes in the 2005 elections, which continued to rise until 2015. In the 2015 elections, BJP’s vote share was 24.42 percent.

But in the 2020 elections, BJP’s vote share fell to 19.46 percent. But this time the BJP’s vote share dropped, but its seats increased, which is in contrast to the two elections held in 2005 as well as the 2010 and 2015 elections.

The BJP had a higher vote share in these elections, but fewer seats. In 2020, BJP won 74 seats.

The BJP had the highest vote share of 24.42 percent in the 2015 elections, but could win only 53 seats. The BJP’s vote share had increased by 8 per cent compared to 2010, but the seats had declined. In 2010, BJP won 91 seats with 16.5 percent vote share.

At the same time, JDU’s vote share this time was 15.39 percent and seats 43.

While JDU won 71 seats in 2015, in 2010 it got 115 seats. JDU’s vote share was also 14.55 in the 2005 elections, which increased to 22.58 in 2010. It then declined in 2015 and 2020. In 2015 it was 16.83 percent.

RJD seats reduced, vote share increased

RJD’s seats have reduced this time, but its vote share has increased. This time Rashtriya Janata Dal got 75 seats. It had won 80 seats in the last election. While the RJD’s vote share is 23.11 in 2020, it was 18.35 in 2015. Where it won 22 seats in 2010, the vote share was 18.84 percent.

Interestingly, the party with the highest vote share did not succeed in forming the government. It looks like this in 2020. The RJD is far from power even after the highest vote share.

The 2015 election results were more or less similar, but later the party with the highest vote share was successful in forming a government through a coalition. But she was in opposition when the election results were announced.

In 2015, the BJP contested the LJP and the RLSP together. Even after the highest vote share, BJP was in opposition role. JDU and Rashtriya Janata Dal succeeded in forming the government by securing maximum seats.

It was different than with the passing of two years, the couple broke up and Nitish formed a government in support of the BJP.

The vote share of the Congress increased from 6.6 percent to 9.5 percent as compared to the previous election, but the seats decreased. In the last election, Congress had 27 seats, this time it was 19.

The LJP’s vote share increased from 4.8 to 5.6 over the previous elections.

Small parties got seats

Bahujan Samaj Party 1, AIMIM 5, Communist Party of India 2, Communist Party of India (M) 2, Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (L) 12, Hindustani Awam Morcha, Lok Janashakti Party 1, Vikas Insan Party got 4 seats and Independents got one seat.
