Meanwhile, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said that External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar has informed us that Naveen’s body has been kept in a mortuary in Ukraine.
His body will be brought to India after the shelling stops.
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has shared big information regarding the body of Naveen Shekharappa, who was killed in the Russian attack in Kharkiv, War-torn Ukraine.
He has said that Naveen’s body will definitely be brought to India, but for this, we are waiting for the stop of shelling in Ukraine.
Bommai said, “External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has informed the Karnataka government that as soon as the firing in Ukraine stops, the body of Naveen Shekharappa, a student of Karnataka killed in a Russian military operation, will be brought to India.”
CM Bommai said, ‘Naveen’s body has been coated with chemicals and is kept safe in Ukraine’s mortuary.’ Naveen Shekharappa was studying MBBS in Ukraine.
Job for a family member.
“The External Affairs Minister has informed us that Naveen’s body has been embalmed and kept in Ukraine,” Bommai said.
Earlier, Bommai handed over a check of Rs 25 lakh to Naveen Shekharappa’s family. Along with this, one person from the family has been promised a government job.
Naveen Shekharappa was a resident of the Haveri district of Karnataka. 21-year-old Naveen was pursuing MBBS at the National Medical University in Kharkiv.
He was killed in a Russian attack when he was waiting in line to buy food.
