National President Of BJP Mahila Morcha, Arrested In Bengal. 10 leaders, including the national president of BJP Mahila Morcha, arrested, arrested for demonstrating against violence in Bengal.

The police arrested 10 leaders including BJP Mahila Morcha national president Vanti Srinivasan, who was protesting in front of Gandhi Murthy in Kolkata on Friday against the political violence that has continued since the results of the assembly elections in Bengal.

Apart from Srinivasan, the leaders who were arrested include RS member Roopa Ganguly, state Mahila Morcha president and newly elected MLA from Asansol South Assembly Agnimitra Pal and MLA Chandna Bauri, and others.

However, the police released all these women leaders in the evening.

It has been alleged by the state BJP unit that the police arrested them despite peaceful protests in front of the Gandhi idol.

Let us tell that the police did not allow picketing and protests in front of Gandhi’s idol due to the rising outbreak of Covid-19.

Despite this, the leaders of the BJP Mahila Morcha tried to protest in a peaceful manner, but the police arrested them.

Significantly, in the wake of the ongoing violence across the state, the BJP has been continuously alleging that its workers are being attacked by activists of the ruling Trinamool Congress.

At the same time, many women activists have also been victims of violence and the BJP has claimed that many have even been raped. Against this, leaders of Mahila Morcha organized a sit-in demonstration here.
