National Girl Child Day 2022: Home Minister Amit Shah told about the projects of the central government related to daughters, revolutionary reforms.

National Girl Child Day is being celebrated across the country today. This day is celebrated as the empowerment of daughters.

Many initiatives have been taken by the Government of India to empower daughters, including many projects related to the girl child.

Under these schemes, ‘Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao’ is a remarkable step of the government, Home Minister Amit Shah called the schemes made for daughters a revolutionary reform.

On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, Home Minister Amit Shah appreciated the projects for the daughters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, he said, ‘After becoming the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has appealed to adopt daughters as a symbol of pride and self-respect in the whole country with many schemes like ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’.

As a result, there was a change in the mass campaign and revolutionary reforms in the sex ratio.’

National Girl Child Day is celebrated every year on 24 January in India. It was started in the year 2008 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

24 January was chosen to celebrate Girl Child Day because it was on this day in 1966 that Indira Gandhi was sworn in as the first woman Prime Minister of India.

Let us tell you that this day is being celebrated to remove the narrow mindset, evils, and evils regarding daughters in society.

Apart from this, along with encouraging the daughters on this day, emphasis is also laid on making them empowered.
