Nadda targets CM Narayanaswamy from Puducherry says – will win more than 23 seats. BJP national president JP Nadda is on a three-day visit to Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

During his one-day visit to Puducherry, on Sunday Nadda targets Chief Minister V Narayanaswamy for ignoring the people of the union territory.

Addressing a public meeting in Puducherry, the BJP president said that when V Narayanasamy was a minister in the Government of India, he had waived Jharkhand’s Rs 5,000 crore loan, but he did not forgive Puducherry’s debt.

He is currently the Chief Minister of Puducherry, he has done such justice with Puducherry.

Comparing the work done by Narayanaswamy as a Union Minister and the work done by the Vajpayee government, he said that 52 percent of the population in the last 35 years of Congress rule was living below the poverty line.

During the time of the Vajpayee government, Puducherry was given a grant of 70 percent. When V Narayanaswamy became Union Minister, it was reduced to 30 percent.

JP Nadda further said that senior Congress leaders are leaving the party, I welcome them and assure them that with your support we will initiate change in Puducherry.

Lotus will bloom in Puducherry. He said that I would like to assure you that in the upcoming assembly elections our number of seats will be more than 23 and we will form the government. We will conduct local body elections when we come into government.

The BJP president said that India is now providing vaccines to 14 countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised that we will provide vaccines to whichever indigenous vaccine is needed in the world.

Earlier, Nadda was on a two-day visit to Tamil Nadu. Assembly elections are due this year in both Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The BJP is an ally of the ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in Tamil Nadu.
