Mukhtar has been kept under the surveillance of 44 cameras, but the jail administration is considering it less.

Jail administration will now be keping in the eye of 50 cameras. For this, six more CCTV cameras have been sought from the Lucknow-based Directorate.

Mukhtar Ansari, a gangster mafia from Mau district, was transferred from Rupnagar jail in Punjab to Banda Mandal Jail on April 7. On May 14, the prisoner Anshu killed two prisoners in Chitrakoot Jail.

Later, the police also killed him in an encounter. Due to the connection of the deceased prisoner with Mukhtar, the authorities have increased the surveillance of the mafia here. Special security arrangements have been made.

In this, 38 CCTV cameras with five body-worn cameras and one drone camera are being monitored, apart from the prisoner guards, a separate PAC is guarded both inside and outside the jail.

Even after this, the jail administration is still facing a shortage of cameras in the main chakra (the innermost premises of the jail) and barracks.

Due to this, the jail administration has demanded from the Lucknow Directorate, stating the lack of six CCTV cameras.

In it, he told that in the security of the mafia, the cameras of the barracks of the barracks, including the main circle, have been removed and placed around the mafia.

This necessitates installation of more cameras at these important places.

Right now they have about 44 cameras. Six cameras and more will make the security system better. On Monday, 987 detainees including the mafia are in jail. These include 42 women prisoners.

Part of Goenka Hostel collapses in Varanasi’s Vishwanath Corridor, two killed.

A part of the Goenka hostel complex has collapsed during construction work near Lalita Ghat on Tuesday morning in Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.

In this, two laborers died, while seven were injured. NDRF team is engaged in relief work there.

Two laborers Aminul Momin (45 years) and Aboul Momin (27 years) have died while seven laborers have been injured when a part of the Goenka hostel complex collapsed.

All these are being told from West Bengal. Six were discharged from the hospital after first aid, while one laborer is admitted.

A large area has been acquired for construction of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. The employees of the company engaged in the construction of the corridor used to live and eat here. Suddenly the shabby part fell on the sleeping workers in the early hours of Tuesday.

Due to the excavation for Vishwanath Corridor in Dashashwamedh police station area, the foundation of the house was weakened, due to which this accident happened.

At present, the district administration is asking for an investigation into the matter.

Two workers died after a dilapidated two-storey house collapsed in Kashi Vishwanath Dham area on Tuesday morning. Half a dozen laborers working in Vishwanath Corridor were injured.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Shivprasad Gupta Divisional Hospital. These workers working in Vishwanath Corridor had a temporary shelter in a dilapidated house.

In the early hours of today, the house suddenly collapsed, in which all the workers got buried under the debris.

On information, the police team carried out a rescue operation and took everyone out and sent them to the hospital, where the doctors declared two laborers dead.
