More Than 52 Crore Doses Of Vaccine Have Been Administered

More than 52 crore doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered so far in the country: Ministry of Health.

On Wednesday, it was informed by the Union Health Ministry that so far more than 52 crore vaccine doses have been given in the country under the Corona Vaccination Campaign.

There is cooperation from the center in the ongoing vaccination in the country.

In this sequence, so far states and union territories have received more than 53 crore doses of corona vaccine by the Center.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said today that more than 53.24 crores (53,24,44,960) doses of vaccine have been given to the states and union territories and 72,40,250 doses are still available.

These doses are in the pipeline, to be delivered to all the states and union territories at the earliest.

As per the data released at 8 am today, 51,56,11,035 doses have been consumed including wastage out of the doses available with the states and union territories.

Apart from this, more than 2.25 crore (2,25,03,900) remaining and unused corona vaccine doses are still available with the states/UTs and private hospitals.

According to the Health Ministry data, Uttar Pradesh (more than 5.35 crore doses) has been followed by Maharashtra (more than 4.66 crore doses) in the country.

According to the report released on August 8 in UP (Corona Vaccination in UP), a total of 5.28 crore people have been vaccinated.

At the same time, the second number is Maharashtra and the third number is Gujarat (Gujarat).

A total of 4.59 crore people have been given the corona vaccine so far in Maharashtra and 3.50 crore people in Gujarat.

Seriously considering booster dose of corona vaccine: Government.

NITI Aayog Member ([Health)] Dr. VK Paul has said that the National Expert Group on Corona Vaccination has considered giving booster doses of the vaccine and it is being looked into very deeply.

Pal said this should be taken as a work in progress as science is still working in this area. Responding to a question on the need to give booster doses of the corona vaccine.

Pal said in the press conference that the National Expert Group on Corona Vaccination had discussed the issue of booster doses of the vaccine in its last meeting.
