MLA Shilabhadra Left The Party, Another Blow To TMC

MLA Shilabhadra also left the party, after Suvendu and Jitendra, another blow to TMC : Bengal Election 2021.

In Bengal, the ruling Trinamool Congress is not taking any name for the difficulties ahead of next year’s assembly elections.

The party has been suffering one after another and is leaving the strong leader Mamata Banerjee.

The biggest blow to the Trinamool came when the strongman Suvendu Adhikari resigned from all party posts on Thursday.

There is speculation of Shubhendu joining the BJP.

Hours later, Jitendra Tiwari, MLA of Pandeshwar and President of West Bardhaman District Trinamool, also sent his resignation to Mamata Banerjee.

Meanwhile, another rebel leader of the party and Trinamool MLA from Barrackpore, Shilabhadra Dutta, also resigned from all party posts.

He has sent his resignation letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday morning. However, Dutta has not resigned as MLA for the time being.

Significantly, Dutta, considered close to Mukul Rai, had been pursuing a rebellion against the Trinamool for a long time. Eventually, he too announced to leave the party.

Let us tell that amidst the continuing resignations, Trinamool Congress President and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also called an emergency party meeting on Friday.

In this meeting, the party’s future strategy will be discussed and the strategy will be decided on the frequent resignations.

Significantly, Trinamool Congress leader Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday broke his 20-year relationship with the Trinamool Congress.

He resigned from all posts including primary membership of the party. A day before that, on Wednesday, he resigned as MLA.

At the same time, on November 27 last month, he resigned from the state cabinet. Suvendu has been constantly running distance with the party leadership for some time.

Though the Trinamool tried its best to persuade them, the matter did not materialize.

Amid the continuous resignations, Trinamool President Mamata Banerjee has called an emergency meeting of the party on Friday.

According to sources, the party’s strategy will be discussed in this emergency meeting.
