Mithya Will Be Released On OTT Platform Zee5

Mithya will be released on OTT platform Zee5: Mithya Trailer. Psychological war broke out between Huma Qureshi-Avantika Dasani, a web series to be released on this date.

The month of February has become important for Huma Qureshi. From OTT to the cinema hall, Huma Qureshi will be seen spreading her acting skills. Her movie Valimai is coming to theaters on 24 February.

Although it is a Tamil film, it is also released in Hindi. Huma will be seen opposite Tamil star Ajith Kumar in this film.

Earlier, Huma Qureshi’s web series Mithya will be released on OTT platform Zee5, in which Avantika Dasani will be seen in the lead role with her.

This is the acting debut of Bhagyashree’s daughter Avantika.

The six-episode psychological thriller web series Mithya is being released on the platform on February 18.

The trailer of the series was released on Wednesday. Mithya’s story is set in Darjeeling, where Huma Qureshi’s character is a professor of Hindi literature at Juhi University.

Avantika Dasani’s character is Rhea Rajguru’s student. Juhi describes Riya’s essay as plagiarism and a psychological battle ensues between the two, which gradually becomes dangerous.

The series is directed by Rohan Sippy. Parambrata Chatterjee Rajit Kapoor and Sameer Soni will be seen in important roles in the rest of the cast.

The series is produced by Applause Entertainment. Mithya is the Indian adaptation of the BBC series Cheat.

Regarding the series, director Rohan Sippy said, “Mithya is a tense and dramatic thriller that unfolds in a university where knowledge and truth are pursued, but each character betrays each other and ultimately themselves.”

Huma Qureshi said, “When I read the script of Mithya, I was immediately attracted to this world and all the layered characters. It was exciting to be a part of such a genre and play a Hindi professor, which was my first time.”

Avantika Dasani says, “Working on this series has been a learning institution for me. Bringing Rhea from script to screen under the intense guidance of Rohan sir or sharing space with stellar actors like Huma, Parambrata, Rajit sir, has been nothing short of a dream.”
