Mexico Shootout: 10 suspected criminals killed, three security personnel injured in firing with security forces in Mexico.

Three security personnel were injured in a shootout along the Mexico City border. While 10 suspected criminals were killed. Mexico state officials gave this information on Tuesday.

The violence has raised concerns from the government of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who has vowed to pacify the country with a less confrontational approach to tackling crime.

An armed group attacked security forces.

The Mexico State Prosecutor’s Office said on Twitter that a heavily armed group attacked security forces during an operation in the small municipality of Texcaltitlan.

Three of the security personnel were seriously injured. Meanwhile, 10 suspected criminals were killed while seven have been arrested. Four of them have been injured.

State security forces seized 20 long arms, handguns, cartridges, five vehicles, bulletproof vests, military-style uniforms, and communication equipment.

Violence intensified after 2007.

Violence in Mexico intensified after former President Felipe Calderon sent the army to the streets to fight drug traffickers in 2007, which continues to this day.

While López Obrador inherited a nation that is already going through a high murder rate.

Incidents of murder are coming to the fore during the tenure of the Lopez Obrador government, making it on track to be the highest average annual murder total under any Mexican administration since modern records began.

López Obrador has also faced sharp criticism for his security policy.

US President Joe Biden has signed a bill to establish the National Asia-Pacific American History and Culture Museum.

This museum will help in documenting the identity of Indian Americans and their history and culture.

US President Joe Biden said in a ceremony held at the White House on this historic occasion that I am very proud to sign the bill to establish this museum in Washington DC, which was long overdue.
