Mehbooba held a virtual meeting with PDP leaders of the Jammu division, said nepotism has paralyzed the administrative system.

Mehbooba Mufti, President of the People’s Democratic Party and former Chief Minister, is now raising questions on the administrative system of the state.

She says that administrative apathy, mismanagement, and nepotism are proving fatal for the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the grave crisis arising out of Corona.

A chaotic situation has arisen due to the appointment of certain people instead of responsible, hardworking, experienced, and qualified officers in important positions.

Mehbooba held a virtual meeting: On Wednesday, she said these things while addressing a virtual meeting of PDP leaders of the Jammu division.

Mehbooba said that Jammu and Kashmir, especially Jammu, have a mixed population of people of all classes and religions.

This requires a balanced administration. The continuing game of nepotism in two years has created an administrative imbalance. The tribal population is being harassed in the name of removal of encroachment.

Common people are being sidelined to please certain political people. Due to government apathy, every section of the society including traders, industrialists, transporters, farmers, workers is feeling neglected today.

Mehbooba said that it was often mentioned in Jammu that if Article 370 is removed, development and prosperity will come here, but now people fighting the epidemic are not getting even medicine here.

The increasing number of deaths of corona infected in Jammu testifies to this. Nepotism has paralyzed the entire administrative machinery.

People’s problems are increasing. She directed the PDP leaders and workers to go among the common people and help them. To protect the political, social, and economic interests of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Workers led by party chairman Harshdev Singh raised anti-government slogans and burnt an effigy of BJP outside Press Club Jammu on Wednesday morning.

The workers, waving banners, said that diesel has reached Rs 90 a liter and petrol is close to Rs 100. The workers have come to the BJP government, have brought back-breaking inflation.

On this occasion, party chairman Harshdev Singh said that the price of petrol has reached Rs 100 per liter while the price of diesel has reached close to Rs 90 per liter.
