Maharashtra lockdown: lockdown extended till June 15 in Maharashtra, discounts may be available in some districts.

In view of the Corona infection, the Maharashtra government on Sunday extended the ongoing lockdown in the state by 15 days.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said, “The lockdown being extended for 15 days will now remain in force till June 15.

Depending on the cases of corona infection in the districts, some exemptions and restrictions will be implemented.”

The time will open for shops to open.

The state government has also issued a new guideline regarding the lockdown.

According to the new guideline, “All required shops which are currently allowed to operate between 7 am and 11 am may be allowed to operate between 7 am and 2 pm”.

According to the Maharashtra government, restrictions will be relaxed based on the corona infection rate in the lockdown and the availability of oxygen and beds in hospitals.

According to the information received, the time of installation, shops, and other services in the municipal areas and districts where the rate of infection is below 10 percent and the oxygen beds are less than 40 percent, from 7 am to 2 pm. can go. Right now the time is from 7 am to 11 am.

Similarly, in the municipal corporations and districts where the rate of infection is more than 20 percent and 75 percent of the oxygen beds are admitted patients, there will be a ban on the movement of any person in these districts.

The Local Disaster Management Authority will take decisions regarding shops and establishments selling items other than essential commodities.

Black fungus and corona infection situation in the state.

Announcing the increased lockdown on Sunday night, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that 3,000 cases of black fungus (Mucormycosis) have been reported in the state so far.

Let us know that in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, 18,600 new cases of corona infection have been reported and the death of 402 infected people has been recorded. 22,532 patients have been sent home after being found healthy.

2,71,801 patients are said to be active in the state. The total number of discharged patients so far is 57,31,815 while the death toll is 94,844. The total number of healthy patients in the state is 53,62,370.
