Omicron cases are increasing rapidly in the country, but the number of corona infections continues to fluctuate. In the last 24 hours, 6,358 new cases of corona have been reported.

Central government’s advice to the states.

On the other hand, in view of the increasing cases of Omicron, the Central Government has extended the existing guidelines related to Corona till 31 January.

The Center has advised the states to exercise caution. Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla has written a letter to the Chief Secretaries of the states and union territories.

In view of the increasing cases of Corona, especially Omicron, everyone has been advised to be very careful. He has also asked to impose restrictions at the local level as per the requirement and control the crowd during festivals.

In the letter, information has also been given to extend the guidelines related to Corona till January 31 next year.

To prevent the spread of infection, the focus has been asked to focus on compliance with five measures related to testing, detection, treatment, vaccination, and compliance with the rules of prevention from the corona.
