Laal Singh Chaddha Box Office: Collection Of 8 Crores On Monday

Laal Singh Chaddha Box Office: Aamir Khan’s film was in trouble even on Independence Day, earning so much on Monday.

Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha continues to perform poorly at the box office. The film could not take any advantage of the long festive weekend.

After taking a modest opening on Raksha Bandhan, Lal Singh Chaddha could not show any miracle even on Independence Day.

Being a public holiday, it was expected that the film’s collections would jump and could leave behind Sunday’s earnings, but it did not happen.

Instead of booming, the film’s earnings on Monday recorded a drop of almost 20 percent.

According to the forecasts of trade reports, despite the Independence Day holiday on Monday, Lal Singh Chaddha has netted only around 8 crores. This amount may fluctuate in the final figures.

Laal Singh Chaddha was released on August 11, the day of Raksha Bandhan, and the film earned 11.70 crores on the first day, which is very less in comparison to the stature and star value of this film.

Lal Singh Chaddha was expected to take an opening of at least 20 crores. On the second day of release on Friday, the film’s earnings fell drastically and collected only 7.26 crores.

On Saturday, there was a jump in earnings again and collected 9 crores. On Sunday, the collection of Lal Singh Chaddha stood at 10 crores.

Along with this, the film made a net collection of 37.96 crores in the opening weekend of 4 days.

Laal Singh Chaddha has failed to captivate the audience. For this reason, there was also news of the film’s screen decreasing.

Now Varun Dhawan’s film Jug Jug Jio is being re-released on select screens. Lal Singh Chaddha also faced a boycott campaign on social media before its release.

However, during the promotions, Aamir requested people to watch the film.

Kartikay 2: Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan’s bad condition raised the fortunes of this South film, with a 300 percent jump in collections.

Bollywood is having bad days at the box office right now. Almost all the big films released this year have been flops. Even big stardom and budget could not save these films.

The latest examples of this are Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan and Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, which are crawling in theatres.

The long festive weekend also could not affect the business of films. While Lal Singh Chaddha could only reach 37.96 crores in four days, Raksha Bandhan’s four-day net collection has been 28.16 crores.

In such a situation, there has been a surprising jump in Hindi collections of a film from South India, that too by 300 percent.
