Kulgam Encounter Ends, District Commander Of LeT Killed

Kulgam encounter ends, two terrorists including the district commander of Lashkar killed: Kulgam Encounter.

Encounter has started between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam. So far, the security forces have succeeded in killing two terrorists in the ongoing firing from both sides, other details are awaited.

According to the police, Gulzar Reshi, the district commander of Lashkar, who was involved in the killing of two workers in Kulgam, has succeeded in killing his partner in this encounter.

In Kashmir, four terrorists involved in the killing of non-Kashmiris, especially workers from outside states, were killed by the security forces in two separate encounters in Shopian and Kulgam on Wednesday.

Kulgam encounter ends: During this, one army personnel was martyred and three others were injured.

The slain militants include Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Hit Squad The Resistance Front (TRF) Commander Adil Hussain Wani, District Shopian, and Gulzar Ahmed Reshi, Lashkar District Commander in Kulgam.

Security forces have also recovered a huge cache of weapons from the slain terrorists. In the last fortnight, the security forces have so far killed 17 terrorists in 11 encounters.

The four slain terrorists were responsible for the killing of carpenter Sagir Ahmed Ansari of Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh and two laborers from Bihar in Vanpoh Kulgam.

The name of the martyred soldier is Karanveer Singh. He was injured in an encounter with two of his other accomplices. Both the encounters took place at an interval of about seven hours.

At seven in the evening, a campaign was launched in the Sopot area of ​​Kulgam district adjoining Shopian.

As soon as the soldiers stepped towards the hideout of the terrorists, the terrorists on seeing them opened fire while trying to escape from there.

The soldiers retaliated while defending themselves and within about 10 minutes both the terrorists hiding there were killed.

One of them is Gulzar Ahmed Reshi, the district commander of Lashkar in Kulgam.

Charges framed against J&K Gramin Bank Kupwara official for embezzlement of 1.33 crores

CBI Court has framed charges of embezzlement of Rs 1.33 crore against Sharik Hussain Khan, the then officer of Jammu and Kashmir Gramin Bank Kupwara.

According to the CBI case, Shariq Hussain Khan embezzled Rs 1.33 crore in January 2016 by tampering with the bank’s computer system and documents.

The bank came to know about this in 2019 and after looking at the records of three years in the internal investigation, a scam of Rs 1.33 crore came to light.

On this, the bank handed over the investigation of the case to the CBI.

CBI completed the investigation and presented the challan of the case and now the court has framed charges against Sharik Hussain Khan.
