Kids Will Soon Be Able To Play Video Games On Netflix For Free

Kids will soon be able to play Video games on Netflix for free, two new kids features will be added for children.

Netflix, the world’s most popular streaming platform, is now planning to provide entertainment as well as video gaming experience to users.

Yes, the company recently hired Mike Verdu, a former Electronic Arts, and Facebook executive, as the vice president of game development for the streaming platform.

Netflix currently only offers movies and TV shows on its platform and has been showing signs of expanding into the video gaming market for some time.

In addition, Netflix announced that it is launching two new services – Kids Recap Email and Kids Top 10 Row – aimed at making the platform more child-friendly.

Video games can be played without any additional charge.

According to a Bloomberg report, Netflix is ​​planning to expand its platform by entering the video gaming market by next year.

Games may appear as a new programming genre – similar to its documentaries and Stand Up specials – and may initially be offered at no additional charge.

Verdu is said to report directly to Netflix’s chief operating officer Greg Peters.

Netflix has hinted at entering the video gaming market for some time. Its first announcement coincided with the free-to-play Stranger Things mobile game, which was announced at E3 2019.

In May, Netflix announced that it was looking for an executive to help boost its investments in the video game market.

The streaming platform has also previously experimented with interactive films and TV shows such as Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Carmen Sandiego.

How does the Kids Recap Email feature work.

The company has also announced two new services to make the platform more child-friendly.

The first is called the Kids Recap email feature that will send parents Insights into kids’ favorite content, recommendations based on their favorite programs on Netflix.

The Printable coloring sheets and activities are inspired by their favorite movies, shows, and characters.

Netflix will also provide parents with a top theme and topic chart showing where their kids have enjoyed the most.

Parents will also be given tips on how to improve children’s viewing experience on Netflix and increase parental control over profiles.

This service will start from July 16 and will be started for those users who have active kid’s profiles in their accounts.

How does Kids Top 10 row work.

The second edition of Netflix is ​​Kids Top 10 Row. It will showcase the top 10 most popular titles for kids – updated daily along with their maturity ratings.

All devices that create titles for Kids Top 10 row will have a red ‘Top 10’ badge.

The list can be found on the ‘Kids’ profile homepage or in the ‘New & Popular’ section in the menu bar. Kids Top 10 Row is already live for users in 93 countries.
