Kerala HC verdict challenged in Supreme Court, more pilgrims enter Sabarimala temple.

The Chief Secretary of Kerala reached the Supreme Court on Thursday. He has filed a petition against an order of the Kerala HC verdict.

The number of devotees to enter the Sabarimala temple was increased rather than reduced. The High Court had ordered that now every day 5000 people will be allowed to enter the temple.

The Kerala government has moved the Supreme Court against the High Court’s order to increase the daily number of pilgrims to the Sabarimala temple in Kerala from 2000-3000 to 5000.

The issue raised administrative issues and the corona epidemic.

Darshan will start from 26 December

In order to visit the devotees at Sabarimala temple in Kerala from December 26, they must have a negative report of RT-PCR test.

The Travancore Devsom Board will start virtual cue bookings for Sabarimala devotees from 6 pm today. A total of 5000 people will be allowed to visit the temple in a day.

Swami Prasadam will go through speed post

During the pandemic, the post department has decided to make ‘Swami Prasadam’ of the famous Sabarimala Temple in Kerala accessible to devotees through speed post.

Now devotees from all over the country can book the Prasad.

Preparations have been made to extend the temple’s owner Prasadam to the devotees in every corner of the country through a wide network of postal department.

The temple opened from 16 November and strict protocols were implemented. The temple remained closed for seven months due to the epidemic.

Let us know that only last month, the famous Sabarimala temple of Kerala was opened for the annual Manjal Makarvilakku pilgrimage so that devotees have the facility to visit.

But after the temple opened, there were cases of Covid-19 infection which include devotees, employees, and others.
